Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration becauseit supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Improve senior student outcomes in investments and finance to prepare them for careers working for investment banks. While teaching stock market investing, I want additional materials to prepare students for college finance. The second part of the materials is to allow my entrepreneurship classes to make a third prototype on two design thinking projects. Students will build an affordable structure (An activity that is incorporated into the class that incorporates Design thinking to real-world issues. Similar materials as a maker space department. These activities are based on the UN's sustainable goals and incorporate personal finance to figure out how to fund and support throughout. Students will use design thinking to understand what the end users need and have empathy for their current situation. Learning to take control of your finances and find funding sources is essential in today's global economy. This project will provide a hands-on experience for my students.
